FALL LEAF PICK-UP
Saturday Mornings:
• Oct. 24 • Oct. 31 • Nov. 7 • Nov. 14 • Nov. 21 • Nov. 28
The Annual Green Oaks Fall Leaf Pick-Up will begin Saturday, Oct. 24, and continue every Saturday morning through Nov. 28.
The Village offers this annual program free of charge to our residents. Please rake your leaves to the roadside by 6 a.m. the morning of the pick-up for disposal trucks to vacuum them up.
Please do not bag the leaves. If you prefer to bag leaves, kindly contact Groot Disposal at (847) 693-2700 for yard waste disposal options.
Reminder: Leaf burning is not permitted due to the negative impact on public health. Residents burning leaves are in violation of the Village Ordinance and will be ticketed or fined accordingly. Many alternatives to burning leaves exist, including commercial collection, mulching or composting.
