St. Mary’s Road Closure on July 28th
LCDOT will be closing St. Mary’s Road to through traffic from IL 137 to IL 176 on Tuesday, July 28, weather permitting. The closure will begin at 8:30 a.m. and is scheduled to reopen by late afternoon. The closure is necessary to replace a large deteriorated cross-road culvert.
Ensuring culverts are in good repair is critical, as they carry water beneath roadways, helping prevent flooding, erosion and pavement damage.
Local traffic will be allowed from IL 137 south to King Drive and from IL 176 north to Lexington Road. The work site will be closed to all traffic.
