2026 - 2027 Vehicle Stickers
Your Green Oaks Vehicle Stickers expire June 30, 2026. Vehicles not displaying a current year sticker are in violation of the Village code. The roadway construction projects within the Village are financed through proceeds from vehicle sticker sales and Illinois State Motor Fuel Tax revenues. Collection of all vehicle sticker revenue is essential.
Village Ordinance Section 5-4-3: License Fees: The owner of every motor vehicle and motor bicycle, including commercial vehicles, who resides within the Village shall pay a license fee for the use of such motor vehicle or motor bicycle.
5-4-3 D: If not paid by July 1 of the licensing year, the license fees required by this section shall be set forth in the following schedule.
5-4-3 F: At any time on or after July 1 of each year, the Village may take any or all lawful action necessary to collect the license fee due under 5-4-3 including, but not limited to, placing the delinquent fee account for collection with a debt collection company.
Residents over 64 years of age are entitled to the issuance of one passenger vehicle sticker free of charge. Any vehicle with a disability license plate issued under 625 ILCS 5/3-616 shall be entitled to the issuance of one passenger vehicle license for that vehicle for a fee of $10. Any person who is a full time college student, upon presentation of a valid student I.D. from a college or university, shall be entitled to issuance of one passenger vehicle sticker for a vehicle registered to that person for a fee of $20.
