On Sept. 19, 2023, the Village of Green Oaks held a Ground Breaking Ceremony for its Memorial Garden, located directly across from Village Hall on the Northeast corner of Buckley and O’Plaine Road in Green Oaks. A big thank you to Village Landscape Architect Brad Detloff, Village Planner Jeramiah Yeksavich of Manhardt Consulting, Village Engineer Ben Metzler of Clark Dietz and Contractor A. Jules Construction who brought this empty corner to life!
This project honors the past and present residents and veterans of our hometown, the Village Green Oaks.
Each of us has been blessed to have that special someone — a neighbor, teacher, friend, a community member — who played an important role in making us who we are. We simply want to honor our hometown and those special people who have been a part of the fabric of the Village of Green Oaks.
Memorial Garden Brick Paver Program
Our Memorial Garden will honor the valuable members of our Green Oaks Community, whether they are veterans, first responders, teachers, village leaders, coaches, business owners, or one of the wonderful family members in our community that has made Green Oaks a great place to live.
