FALL LEAF PICK-UP
The Annual Green Oaks Fall Leaf Pick-Up will begin Saturday, October 21st and continue every Saturday morning until November 25th. The Village offers this annual program free of charge to our residents. Please rake your leaves to the roadside by 6:00 am on the day of the pick-up for disposal trucks to vacuum them away.
Please do not bag the leaves. If you prefer to bag leaves kindly contact Groot Disposal at (847) 693-2700 for yard waste disposal options.
Reminder: Leaf burning is not permitted due to the negative impact on public health. Residents burning leaves are in violation of the Village Ordinance and will be ticketed or fined accordingly. Many alternatives to burning leaves exist including commercial collection, mulching or composting.
