The Village of Green Oaks is a small and proud community approximately 30 miles north of O’Hare International Airport in Chicago, Illinois. Our community is rich in tradition that affords the pleasantries of quiet country living, excellent schools, access to major highways and tollways, single family home on large lots, all complimented by our growing commercial and retail business district.

2007-2008 Vehicle Stickers May 31, 2007 May 30, 2007 Dear Village Resident: Enclosed are application form(s) for Village Vehicle Stickers for the year July 1, 2007 to June 30, 2008. Your 2006-2007 stickers expire June 30th 2007; vehicles not displaying a current year sticker are in violation of the Village Code. The License fees required by Section 5-4-3 of the Village ordinance are as set forth in the following schedule, depending on the date the application is received in our office: Village Vehicle Sticker Fees: If Paid by July 1st of each year Passenger Vehicle $35.00 Seniors $10.00 Motorcycles $15.00 College Student $20.00 (w/proof of student I.D.) 1 Commercial Vehicles: Under 3000 Pounds $50.00 Over 3000 Pounds but $60.00 under 8000 Pounds Over 8000 Pounds $75.00 Trailers and tractors or similar vehicles designed for hauling purposes. Refer to appropriate weight category above All categories include weight of vehicle and maximum load. If Paid after July 1st of each year Passenger Vehicle $50.00 Seniors $15.00 Motorcycles $25.00 College Student $30.00 (w/proof of student I.D.) 1 Commercial Vehicles: Under 3000 Pounds $75.00 Over 3000 Pounds but $85.00 under 8000 Pounds Over 8000 Pounds $100.00 Trailers and tractors or similar vehicles designed for hauling purposes. Return all copies with your check made payable to: Village of Green Oaks. Residents over sixty four (64) years of age shall be entitled to issuance of one passenger vehicle license for a vehicle registered to that person for a fee of $10.00 and any person who is a full time college student, upon presentation of a valid student I.D. from a college or university, shall be entitled to issuance of one passenger vehicle license for a vehicle for a fee of $20.00. For additional application forms and/or information, please contact the Village office at (847) 362-5363. Village office hours are 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.
